while working on managed system configuration in the step landscape parameter at one place we have to give path to the folder of logs of database.
as i am working on distributed environment i.e sap on one server and database on another server i gave path to the database log directory it is giving error that directory not found.
is there any work around for it?

If this is triggered via proxy then why not simply add a timestamp as a parameter within the proxy that would be used via each mapping? That way you don't have to worry about how long it takes for PI to process the files.

We had the same problem once. the problem in that case was the user id through which this activity was triggered did not had a email id maintained.

You would need to use the SDK to create the Extension Bundle yourself. You cannot use the .ZIP source directly without bundling it using the SDK.
I'd bundle it in an installable extension for you, however it's Leandro Cardoso's work so I don't want to step on toes. The SDK guide can walk you through how to do it, though.

I have faced same error and I got solution. Double click on DTP and go to Batch Monitor and click on Cancel job and analyse it. Mostly some invalid Char/Date records need to modify. Try to correct it and save and run the process chain again.

Estou com um problema no SPED que não consigo resolver.
Recebo a famigerada mensagem: Soma das partidas do lançamento, a débito, diferente do valor informado no registro de Lançamento Contábil.
E quando fiz uma análise dos lançamentos percebi que o erro se dava porquê na I250 que detalha o valor do registro I200, não aparece uma partida do documento, e sempre é a do fornecedor. Verifiquei que a conta está na estrutura do Balanço utilizada, mas todas as partidas dessa conta não aparecem de forma alguma em nenhum documento detalhado na I250.
Alguém sabe dizer o motivo?

Actually i am also stuck up in a similar situation.
When I use SAPFTP as the destination since it works. However with SAPFTPA, i am getting the same login error as in your case.
If you were successful in getting the issue resolved, can you please share the solution.

We are using client 001 for out GRC 10 sandbox and Dev systems and we are planning to build QA and Prod systems also with 001 as the working client. Please advise if this approach has any drawbacks. Can we use client 001 without issues?

Of course you can use X.509 certificates without AS JAVA and without SAP SSO (the product). You will then just need to figure out how to generate and deploy the certificates to your users assuming you don't already have a PKI within your company. With SAP SSO that happens automatically. Correct, ABAP SPNEGO doesn't require SLS. You can use ABAP SPNEGO assuming you purchase SAP SSO licenses and your system meets the requirements (version, SP level, kernel, etc).

Checked the environment variable under the orasid and sidadm.
TST_ERROR is related to the environment variable. Checked the permission of dbenv.csh/ksh and sapenv.sh/csh
Also check the shell of the system.

In one of my report , I am using 6 prompts . This report is based on a derived table . 4 of the prompts are defined in the derived table itself using the @Prompt function . The other 2 prompts are used at query panel level which are also optional prompts . Now I have set the order of the prompts using user syntax .
For eg: @Prompt('Retailer ID:','A','Retailer(Cash Sum)\Retailer ID',Multi,Free,Persistent,{'ALL'},User:0) . In the same way I have defined the order for all the 4 prompts . Now the other 2 prompts in the query panel are defined user value 0 & 1 by default . I actually want them in 3rd & 5th position. I have also tried giving numbering for the prompts description and it does not work . I am unable to edit the custom SQL because it does not allow me to edit when optional prompts are present . Is there a way to manage there prompts and put it in order as I like ?
