Should global constant MX_RECONCILE be used in IdM 7.2 SP9?

Hi Experts

In IDM 7.2 SP9 should MX_RECONCILE be used?

I currently have this set to FALSE but the "Reconcile dirty entries" job is also not enabled and not running on scheduled basis.

The issue my client currently has is that when a role or privilege(ABAP) is added to an existing business role which is already assigned to a user(s) those users are not getting the additional roles/privileges in the backend target systems.

Is this because the "Reconcile dirty entries" is not running? Should this be running on a regular basis? What is the SAP best practise recommendation?

Hi Maddy,

 

You will have to create new customized fields for Sample receiving time and sample clearance time.

Then you will have to get pop up for these two fields at the time of result recording, You need to implement user exit for the same, I am not sure about which user exit to use, so verify with help of an ABAPer for below exits.

 

QEEM0029  User-Exit for Characteristic Overview Subscreen

QEEM0006  User exit: add. functions after closing inspection char

 

Then, you also need to append QALS_D02 structure so that these two fields will be shown in QA32 report.

Hi Prabuganesh,

 

I would recommend you to go through the functional specification for this custom function to understand its functionality and why it was built.

 

That will help you to understand why you are encountering this error.

 

I believe this scenario may not have been taken into consideration while designing this custom function.

BI reports not opening in Windows 8 IE11

Hi Experts,

 

We have upgraded our PCs to Windows 8 OS and using IE 11 version.

but when executing BI reports error coming "content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate".

 

Please provide the solution.

Hi Sonia,

 

The transaction FAGL_FC_VAL is used to valuate the documents which are posted other than local currency. If you want the same values in amount in FC & LC fields. Then you need to run the transaction. In the GL master you have to select 'only balances in local currency' check box. Then system will maintain the GL balances only in local currency and both the fields will have same value. If you clear the documents which are in foreign currency, then system will not generate any exchange rate difference.

Gurus,

    I found the below reply in one of the threads. I would like to know whether it is a complete cycle, or any step is missing.

 

Step1:

• Define features of the product as characteristics - T code -CT04

• Use characteristic values to describe customer requirements

• Assign characteristics to class

• Create variant class with class type 300   - Tcode CL02

 

Step2:

Create Material master with configurable type

Alternatives:

a) Material type KMAT

b) Assign class to material in "Classification view"

b) Material with configurable indicator in MRP-2 view

 

Step3

• Create Super BOM - Tcode CS01

• It should contain variable parts & non variable parts

 

Step 4

• Create configuration profile Tcode - CU41

• Assign variant class to config profile

 

Step5

• Create object dependencies - CT04

• Use characteristics & their values

 

Step6

Assign object dependencies to BOM components - T code-CS02

 

Step7

Simulate the configuration - Tcode - CU50

 

Please do assist me out .

But i am requesting the mechanism how it get stored and at which object personalisations will store ? and how to auto remove them ? and what are the permanant fix as the users are facing problems with the blank pages but it is getting resolved by deleting the personalisation settings and it is very frequent issue.

Error in RFC to FTP asynchronous scenario

Hi Experts,

 

I have created RFC to File(FTP) scenario in SAP PI 7.31 AEX(java only) server.

 

When I execute RFC in sender SAP server, it gives run-time error(dump) as "call to messaging system failed".

But it successfully creates text file in target FTP server.

 

In message monitoring I found 2 messages for this.

First has status 'Canceled' with below message log,

 

 

Second message has status as 'Log Version' with no message log and with below message details.

 

 

Please suggest/guide me how to rectify this run-time error.

Hi

 

Select option SAP Business Suite 2013 7i Supp. release 1, you will have an option for Ehp7 for SAP ERP 6 ABAP.

Ehp7 is running on top of NetWeaver 740 but the NetWeaver will be installed as part of ERP installation.

No prior NW installation is required for installation Ehp7 for ERP 6.

Hi,

 

CRM transaction will be triggered for replication if the correct system status is set.

When we set the user status manually, system will automatically sets the corresponding system statuses. So if your custom code to set user status is not setting the system status you need to write logic for it.

 

User status and System Status can be accessed at below path :

SPRO » IMG » CRM » Transaction » Basic Settings » Status Management » Define status profile for user status

 

System Status t-code BS33.

Were you able to get further info on this topic?

 

I have a similar requirement wherein I need to do substitution and validation of line-items created after splitting of documents(which are visible only in general Ledge view of New GL). The line-items created after splitting don't show at runtime, as we can only see user entered line-items. Is there any way by which we can get hold of system created split line items that are present only in FAGLFLEXA/FAGLFLEAXT table for substitution/validation ?

Hi Jurgen,

 

  Yes, client do copy from production to test systems? But how would i come to know when was the copy done? These messages are processed successfully and mail has been sent to supplier from production system which is causing problem. When i check the NAST table, i saw the creation date as 09.09.2014 and time from 12 pm, every entry has started sending to supplier at regular interval.

This is against standard way.

Why you want load data from DSO to PSA?

 

if your DSO have enough data then why you required data at PSA?

 

Even if need same data at PSA, then find the records fro dso and reload missed data from source to PSA with proper selections thru info pack.

Hi Jurgen,

 

  Adding more information. These are old PO's which has been created in the year of 2012. All of sudden, EDI out put type has triggered for these old PO's and sent to vendor.

actualy my requirement is,,,data from exported datasource (which is DSO) to another target thru PSA...and its delta...but mistakanell deleted PSA req,,so need to get that req from source DSO

In 1408, we introduced two features in C4Service to enable Sales Contact Center scenarios

 

1. Follow-up Sales documents from Tickets such as leads and opptys

2. Flexibility to relabel the Ticket work center to anything you want to call the object such as "Sales Inquiry"

 

What this allows you to do now is have a Sales Contact Center which can process inbound sales requests from customers in a centralized organization across all supported interaction channels of Email, Social, Chat, CTI/Phone Calls, and coming in 1411 SMS. Given SnapEngage already provides certified integration for C4Service, you can basically setup the solution to create the following business process

 

1. Customer contacts company via SnapEngage

2. SnapEngage automatically routes and creates a C4Service Ticket (Sales Inquiry)

3. Sales Contact Center agent can evaluate the inquiry and decide to create a follow-up lead or opportunity, which automatically copies the sales inquiry information into the lead or oppty

4. Lead and Opportunity can use standard territory management capabilities to route it to the appropriate sales person for follow-up
