Hi friends,

I am working on report in BO XI R3, need to display Unique Top N Items based on Highest Content & Highest Rating for an Item for the Category & Sub Category selected in Drill filters.

 

Below is the raw data -

 

Following Steps were followed to achieve the same, but facing issue while getting the final output. So please correct where we are making mistake is it respect to context calculation or something else.

 

If user has selected Category & Sub Category as below then the result set should be as such while displaying Top 3 Unique Items.

Category - C1 & Sub Category - SC1

 

We applied 2 Ranking as shown and try to Rank highest Content & Rating as 1 for an Item having multiple records.

 

After applying block level filter for Rank On Content & Rating equals to 1 to get the desired list of Items.

 

For below steps screenshot is attached.

Now from the above list of unique Items we want to display only 1st 3 Items based on Content irrespective if 4th Item have same Content as 3rd Item.

 

To achieve this we tried to apply the inbuilt Ranking Function based on Content but its giving us the 4th Item since it also contains same Content which we don't want. We tried to create 1 more variable and took RunningCount for Item within this block so far its giving fine.

 

As soon as we are applying report block level or report level filter on the Var<=3 it give us wrong result as shown below removing 2 Item having 95%.

 

Can anybody suggest us where we are going wrong, it seems the problem of context or so?

Hi,

 

As it's obvious from the screenshot you shared, there is 9,964.00 INR in period 02/2013 difference,

 

  • First thing to do is to go to the new result table for that period and check if there is wage type with this amount, my first guess is that you should check wage types for retroactive calculation difference which are /551 to /553 or those specific to your country.
  • If that wasn't the reason for your problem, you can simply check the values under each symbolic account, when retroactive happens for each wage type posting is reversed and then posted again, if amount is different for this wage type you will find that difference in the node of the symbolic account itself in the posting log, these difference in debit and credit side should sum up and post in debit or credit side to balance the posting according to if the employee's salary was increased or decreased. so check the posting for each symbolic account carefully as there might be certain wage type that did post at all.

I can help you more if you could share screenshots with all the symbolic accounts expanded.

Hi,

 

This error message in general will trigger when you are entering same PO number for combination of Sold to party, Material and Order type for second time

 

as you already checked out VOV8 configuration the second alternate is to try for OVAH to bypass the error message

 

OVAH generally used to change Warning message to error and vice versa

Hello,

 

You just need to go to SM30, View V_512W_D and select the wage types for which you want add/remove the pention eligible wages /192 , as follows

Just check or uncheck in front of wage type 92 which is technical wage type /192.

 

If you need to check wage types included in wage type /192 just go to SA38 program RPDLGA40 and then run it using the existing parameters and select cumulation overview.

Enter the confirmation number or Order & operation number in first row. Total work hours for that operation will be copied to first row. Change the work hours according to first man. Then, enter the same confirmation or order & operation number in 2nd row, system will copy the work hours (total work hours - first man work hour) in 2nd row.

 

Like this, you can copy all the details.

Hi Clotilde,

 

Well pulling out data from IDM is possible not only via VDS.

You can access IDM views directly using for example SAP JPA and JAVA code.

Storing data in IDM is also possible not only via VDS.

You can use either IDM REST API, or you can use again SAP JPA and java code to store data in IDM workspace in a custom table under RT user, than you can setup an external trigger on this table and "on change" event you can trigger IDM tasks.

Hi Muniyappan,

 

The problem is that I cannot write in that field like with the service interface.

It obliges me to select from a list.

 

I tried to to test the scenario (Tools->test Configuration).

I selected the communication component for the sender and receiver and Run it.

 

I got many errors like sender agreement not found, receiver determination not found, etc.

Hi Anil,

 

regarding the manually created PR's you can do one of following (given that there is no open PO created against it) :

- delete the position line, using the 'delete' button

- close the PR - flag the PR as closed so no PO can be created against it ('quantity' tab, 'closed checkbox')

- block the PR - 'status' tab, 'item' details, dropdown box

 

MRP generated PR's will be deleted by the system if the requirement is canceled; if the later remains open, then even though you delete manually, the system will again create a PR.

 

Routing deletion:

- one by one, using CA02, go to operations details, top menu bar, Edit>Delete

- mass, using CA98; you can use there the group number & counter in multiple selections

SAP BW-IP versus BPC 10

Hi BPC experts

 

We currently use BW-IP and use also a comment solution.

The comments to are stored in the KM of the SAP Portal, the values itself in the ABAP stack of BW.

 

When it comes to selections on hierarchy node and comments we experienced very bad performance. This has already been made public in SAP notes. We currently use BW 7.01. In December we upgrade to BW 7.30.

 

The clients requirement in respect of creating comments are:

  • comments must be possible on hierarchy nodes
  • comments must additionally be possible on leaves.

 

Due to this bad performance issue we really think about an alternative. I read a bit about BPC and the high percentage of doing the planning and forecasting "configurations" by the business people.

 

My questions regarding the comparison of BW-IP and BPC 10:

  1. If we decide to use BPC 10 with SAP BW(-IP), would it be possible to reuse all RSPLAN functions?
  2. Does BPC 10 have a flexible solution for comments (documents) on hierarchy node and leave level?

Can I display a notification showing the actual DocNum on screen when an order is added ?

Hi,

 

Is it possible to add a notification on the centre of the screen to show the document number that the order has actually been added to the system using ?

 

I know it's shown in the system log, but I've been asked to try and make it more prominent as this is too small for our customer service team when they're processing many orders.

Not sure what your requirement is all about? However, here it is on how you can achieve:

 

For the Header Line item : Item Cat (VOV7) settings - Pricing Relevant and Billing (Order related).

 

You might required to create Z BOm Item Cat Gp, Z Item Cat . ..

 

But please note for the COPA analysis you might need to post it to the respective cost element at item level.

Hi Venkat,

 

Seems like your data source and cube are standard one. you can get the useful information from the table RSOSFIELDMAP

 

If your data flow is Data source --> info cube.

 

SE11 - RSOSFIELDMAP, go to contents, give the data source name, you will see ecc field name and respective bw objects name.

 

ECC field name holds - FIELDNAM

BW object name holds by - IOBJNM.

ops, thought, it was for notification...

 

Please go to SPRO. under img, go to workflow for access control. and check if general task is maintained under each task in workflow settings.

 

its post installation config for workflow issue.

 

you can maintain them in under GRc ,general setting then task specific setting for workflow.

 

.for equest details not showing up, can u let me know whats the browser and and netweaver version.

 

same isssue exist earlier you can browse sdn for the same.

Check your valuation variant is it based on actual or planning quota arrangement. If it is based on planning quota arrangement yes the prices will be different depends upon your purchase info record information available. Also check what info record its using while calculating standard cost estimate, then check your strategy sequence in valuation variant for sub contacting.
