Subbu,

 

First question I'd ask is what is the business requirement for all plant to have the same Structure Indicator?

 

Existing plant users will be happier if you maintain the same labelling.  Users will be better served if you perform a data cleansing exercise rather than rely on the classification system.  From my experience adding to the SAP system landscape or upgrading is best performed with the same rigour as a new implementation.

 

  1. Concentrate on the intent of standard SAP functionality until that is exhausted.
  2. If you actually need to have one edit mask for the enterprise start numerically with 00-00-00 etc to ensure the structure is correct.  Remember - too much inteligence in the TOS is not an inteligent thing to do!

 

Alternative labelling caould be used, but why would you?

Hi,

 

As the error message says, there is a problem in your document header.

 

Have a close look at it & debug the part where it gets checked. I suspect the problem is in the OBJ* fields. What version of ECC are you on?

Hello Harsh,


Let's consider the output type NEU from the screenshot in the previous post, inside the access sequence Z987, the determination is progressing through access number and in my case, the number 30 was always true so the number 40 was never executed.

 

So, I had to reorganize the order used to read the condition tables.

1. On the PO click on message

2. On the next screen, select the message, in the the menu, select goto and determin analysis.

No, you are not. You are simply doing your job as moderator (very well, btw). It's completely different from asking only "real experts" (whatever the heck it means) to answer your question. Not even close.

 

I could go much further, but as I said, I want to let it die, so I hope Clemens get his answer, be it from a "real expert", a fake expert, a newbie, from doco, whatever.

PA Infotypes contain many fields that are not "used", at least not by the users, and there could be some variations according to the Country Code.  Furthermore, some Infotypes are Country dependant.

 

As for OM Infotypes, their list will vary according to the Object being maintained, and there could be Country specific variations.

 

If they are an SAP vendor, I would expect them to already have a very good knowledge of standard SAP Infotypes and their fields, and the Country specific Infotypes or variations.  Most training manuals already detail the important and standard fields.

 

If you query your system (through se16n or ad-hoc query), you should be able to tell them what Infotypes and Fields you currently use.  For example, you could tell them that you use IT0008 but only the first 2 possible WT lines (you should not need to tell them that there are 18 unused lines).

Hi Experts,

 

Since different versions of quotation under same quotation numbering is likely impossible.

Is there any better suggestion for my case other than creating UDF for different display / printout in same quotation?

Please check my previous reply and advise on what to check and modify next.  From the results above, ASE default charset is cp858, which should be OK for Korean characters, correct?

Hi Nagarajan

I need the query to display Item codes that don't match the supplier item code

My problem is Item codes have either and AD or an AT in front of it and the supplier codes don't.

Can the query only check for item codes that belong to the item group 'Component Item' only?

You might want to ask this at NWBC forum. I doubt anybody with relevant knowledge will come to this thread since the thread title mentions UWL...

 

There should be some simple configuration steps that you need to do to get the tasks in the NWBC inbox. If I remember correctly, there is a blog post about this somewhere in SCN (I might be wrong about this.)

As we have a matrix reporting structure, we have created more than one S-S relationship additional to A-002, so we use A-004 and A-005. Now I am having issues trying to report all relationships at a time.

Please guide on how can I report these relationships.

Thanks Midhun.

The customer is connecting the SOAP service of IBM Domino by IG. Finally we recommended the customer to use CXF to write their own SOAP service to retrieve data from IBM Domino webservice, then IG could map READ and QUERY operation successfully, and the customer could also implement some additional businesslogic(for example, they wanted to access RDBMS) in their own CXF webservice server side.

Alternative for Preliminary Import

Hi All,

 

I am facing a problem where from the ChaRM GUI, the Preliminary Import had been requested and approved. So now it is in "Test for Preliminary Import" state. However from the task list it was showing error for preliminary import. We have resolved the error occured.

 

So my question is how do we re trigger the preliminary import as the state in the change document is not changeable.

Are there any way from the back end that this can be done?
