I also tried this way as you suggested. The issue that I face is that I have added the BO as a new tab on the lead. When I edit any values on the custom fields and save, it triggers Before Save event of the BO only and the Before Save event of the Lead doesn't trigger. So the change of values is not recorded on the hidden fields. Also when I try to access and change the Lead values from the BO event, I see the hidden fields as read only which cannot be edited.
Though I have solved this issue now by creating an Embedded Component for the extended BO fields instead of the BO fields and it looks to be working fine, but I would really like to know if in case there is such a requirement where one has to use BO fields only then how do we add those fields to the standard web service.

Usually we maintain the rate in same model where capex planning is done.
You can use the new dimension called Key figure with which you can bifurcate values amongst Qty and rate of Assets.Further you can use the required values for directly for reporting purpose or calculation.
As per my understanding separate model is notadvisable for this requirement.

Need help on monitoring poor performance in BIWS
Hello All,
We have a strange behavior with all our Dashboard on SAP 4.0 SP5 FP3 with BIWS connexions. 1 time on 10 (approx.) the BI Web Service connexion take so long. I mean in normal circonstance, it take 2 seconds, then it take 30 seconds, 1 minute and more to return the result.
We build a Jmeter scenario to find a pattern without success.
Just to help, by example it when we call this.

I know it depend a lot of things, and we try a lot of things too but I'm trying to isolate where it take so long.
What we do so far.
1) Close all services not needs. That means at the end it keep only
CMS, Input / Output, APS Visualization, APS Webi, WebiPS. (No need Dashboard services...on only BIWS)
2) I try to captures E2E traces but can't figure out what to check...Too much lines.

3) One interresting test I made is try to open dashboard on production where the problem is and call BIWS on acceptance environnement where it's always fast. The result it's still slow. So, I don't think it's not the web services by itself which is slow. It's probably the CMS, the network, the disk.
We have a big environnement , we run thousand reports per day. So it's probably not the disk or the network...But we never know.
Any idea where to look ?

I have tried to add checkbox through field catalog. Following is the code I'm writing.

l_wa_fieldcat-checkbox = abap_true.
*l_wa_fieldcat-edit_mask = abap_f.

APPEND l_wa_fieldcat to em_it_fieldcat.
But in this case the checkbox appears in disabled form.

Fiori Launchpad tiles are not coming properly in IE9
Hi Experts,
Our client is using IE9 and we are trying to open Fiori Launchpad in IE9. It's opening successfully in Google Chrome but not opening in IE9. Either tiles will not be available at all or it will show distorted text.
Please suggest me if there is any workaround possible so that we can implement standard Fiori apps in IE9.

Just to be clear:
I should show "In Both" for the first Num Order Change1 combination and "Not in Third" for the second Num Order Change2 combination.
But for both combinations, I am receiving the #MULTIVALUE error with the Measure3 value being repeated for the Num Order Change2 combination that does not exist in the third query.
