Cateano,

 

The error messages we usually get are below:

  • The number of decimal places is larger than allowed in customizing
  • You don't have authorization to change this operation

We get these messages in both CA85N and CEWB

 

Here are the steps taken while using CEWB

  1. Enter Work area
  2. Load parts using Additional selection Criteria
  3. Fill out plant, and work center needing updates
  4. Load Task Lists
  5. Select all, OR Select Materials
  6. Extras> Mass Change
  7. Then, we get Select Column, or choose operation ( This part does not work, because it prompts the same message to choose operation)

 

From there we usually have to manually type in the desired WORK CENTER, then save and hope it really saves when it says WORK LIST SAVED. (Some routing do not accept changes although it says it has been saved.)

 

Is this the proper way to use CEWB for routing changes?

WHAT the purpose of the Change number?

From buy side, use the NWBC business client (in case you're not using the SAP Portal).

From sell side, create an external alias to the s3q_ext service, publish this link (that's the link to the supplier portal). ros_ext is the link to the supplier registration.

How to get Project System Fact Sheet and Analytical apps to work?

We have 3 systems on our landscape (ECC+Gateway, HANA DB, Web Dispatcher) and every system is installed on a separate machine. We have installed all required components/add-ins on ERP/Gateway side and Smart Business packages (Smart Business for ERP) on HANA side. We have installed Web Dispatcher on another machine that should forward all requests to either HANA XS(port 80XX and 43XX) or Gateway (500XX and 443XX). But when opening Launchpad Designer I can't see those remote tiles in this folder (X-SAP-UI2-CATALOGPAGE:SAP_PS_TC_S). Same goes for SAP_PS_TC_F folder. All I can see are target mappings.

However in folder for Transactional tiles (SAP_PS_TC_T) I can see all 4 apps in designer as well on launchpad itself. What am I doing wrong? Do I have to create these tiles myself by assigning correct Semantic Object and Action or should they be in the Tile Catalog anyways? I haven't configured HTTPS on Web Dispatcher because it's a Demo environment and the security is not that important at the moment. Could that be the cause of this problem or rather not? Any questions regarding the environment are welcome!

I am using Distributed Candidate Scenario, where we are using separate server for front end candidates .

I need to understand how Jobs Search will appear at External Candidate Pages ?

For that we required to connect Trex with erec server ?

If it is, then do we need to transfer infotypes hrp5121,hrp5122 as well???

If above not is not applicable then you can get this format in SAP_BASIS 7.02

Hi,

 

the entries is these table are the same like in the "Role Search" number of entries (11356=11356).

I think, we have an "Display error" in the view "Role Maintenance, or this cannot read from GRACTABLE.

 

I will start an full Repository sync now.

Wage type text not readable

Hi All,

 

We cannot see the complete name of wagetypes:  
"8C03 BTW 21% op bijdrage werknemer firmawagen (extra accesoires)"
"8C04 BTW 21% op bijdrage werknemer firmawagen (hogere klasse)" 

So cannot distinguish if it is the correct one , even when we click on the wagetype it doesn’t show the complete name. The text of the wagetype was a little modified(see screenshot) but still has the same problem i.e. too long.Can anyone give some light on where to start the configuration?

Hi JJ

 

Please check

 

1. Check the status of the BOM at header level, it should have a status as 1 in CS02

2. Check the explosion date of the BOM in the order and  check if the BOM has a valid from and Valid to date

3. Check the BOM Usage.

 

Please revert back if it is not solved.

Hi Steffen,


  I have checked the filter profiles functionality as suggested by you.However i am unable to filter the event codes or neither am i able to make the actual event date/time/zone in display.


Also the condition table has only EH HEADER values & does not have activity code = "XYZ".


This is what i configured.

assigned the role to the user. However the fields are still in the editable mode while i try to report the events in the WebUI.

Hi Krishna,

 

Thanks for your reply , but the service is definitely not in the list yet in Gateway system nor is it allowing me to call that service from gateway regardless of whether I choose the alias name as ' Local ' or as the 'ECC' backend.

MDG-F Profit Centre assignment to single Company Code

Hi Experts,

 

I've been trying to figure out whether MDG-F 7.02 (Co-deployed for info) has a similar functionality to standard ECC whereby you can deselect Company Codes not required through transaction KE56 before activation of the profit centre.

 

Our client, makes use of one profit centre to one company code relationship (which I see many clients do across the SAP market).  So when creating or changing a profit centre, all CoCd's (179) are selected which is NOT easy to deselect each time - especially during mass changes for example.

 

Is there a standard MDG function that can be used or other method (preferably not the Z-route) to unassign the uneccessary CoCd's automatically before activation - or rather not assign at all in the first place?  I'm thinking to create some type of derivation on the change request - but have a feeling the standard system will not like this and over-write it anyway?

 

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated, or feedback on how this has been handled before.

Hi Divyanshu,

 

SAP is running now. but unable to connect SAP through SAPOSS.

 

We have registered our SAProuter public IP with SAP. but it is not pinging from our dev server.

I have maintained the public ip in OSS1.
