We have a scenario where in the requirement is to trigger a JIT call when the Kanban bin is made empty without the MRP. I tried with having the MRP type as ND and leaving the storage location in planning but not able to trigger the JIT call.
Getting the error message "No message record found for summarized JIT call" even after maintaining output in PJNK2.
Any thoughts if we can trigger a JIT call in form of schedule line without MRP.

I am trying to do the following install:
SAP BI 4.1 SP6
Windows Server 2012 R2
Default DB for CMS - Sybase SQL Anywhere
Everything appears to install correctly, however, when I go to CCM there is no SIA. If I try to create a new SIA from CCM, it gives me an error message. I am never able to authenticate with the CMS database.
The server is very clean, i.e. no other applications are running there. I made sure the Anti-Virus (i.e. Sophos) was disabled during install.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've been asked to determine if the client (be it dbisql, ODBC/SQL Anywhere driver, etc) can disallow the reading/writing of client files. I know this is normally controlled by the IQ / SQL Anywhere servers but if a bad guy was able to gain control of the db server or place a proxy inbetween the client and the server, the bad guy could potentially read/write files on the clients.

I see the NavContainer as the base type for App API. However in the development toolkit I couldn't see the property 'initialPage' even for NavContainer.
I believe the development toolkit is used as a reference for the controls and API. Does some of the properties missed there or is there any alternative way to check all the properties of an API?
Note : I could see the initialPage property in your link as association in the js file but I would like to know why it is not available in the toolkit as this is used as a reference by many people.

This indicates that the sapstartsrv process of the instance 01 is not running, or it is not using SSL anymore.
Do you see the sapstartsrv running?
ps -ef|grep sapstartsrv
If yes, does the following command work?
sapcontrol -nr 01 -function GetProcessList

I have a question about the User subscription in the C4C system. I created a service UI for the sales user (tickets view), in this screen I deleted and blocked the most of fields and actions. Because I need the sales user can to see the tickets without use more adicional service subscription. I don't know the scope of the subscription in this case.
So now my customer are asking me if I can to set visible some fields on this ticket UI (Service category, Product, Incident category). But I don't know if I set visible this field the system take that like a service subscription (adicional), and one user (sales user originally) use two subscription. I think that because this field are part of the step "processing tickets" in the service process and the correct functionality is an service user complete this fields.
I appreciate all help because I need to know if I do that the customer have more cost.

I am working on the Offline Scenario for Fiori CRM App - My Opportunity. I am able to get all the MyOpportunity Data when the device is in Offline Mode (Aeroplane Mode). But I when i try to save a record in aero plane mode, the progress bar / loading icon goes on. I am not able to create / edit a record in offline Mode. In Online Mode, i am able to create and save a record for this app.
1. Is it that OData version doesnt support.
or Am i missing some configuration.
I am not getting any error and i am able to see all the records when the device is offline.

The rule of thumb is if the report view on demand refresh takes 10 minutes to completed, the business user should consider to have this large report to be scheduled to run, preferably in the non-peak hours.
From the Metrics of the WebIntelligenceProcessingServer in CMC, you'd see "Current number of tasks" for the number of tasks it is running.

Ideally hierarchies are stored in many tables in SAP and these are extracted from SAP function modules and put in specific structures for different datasources.
You can check the table 'roohiecat' for details of associated FM's that relate to each datasource.
Each hierarchy datasource calls these FMs and arrange the hierarchies as required.
The SAP hierarchy tables normally start with SET for example, SETHEADER, SETNODE, SETLEAF etc. but it is difficult to make out something(for me at least 
). So better use the FMs mentioned in the table ROOHIECAT.

I am using MRP type P2 with time fence maintained in the material master. It is observed that the MRP run does not take the safety stock into account while creating the procurement proposals. The configuration with respect to MRP group and Safety stock is blank. Can you let me know how can we include the safety stock into account while creating the purchase requisitions

If your system is not mentioned in support pack level, how can you see 'Step User'. Any ways mine is SAP_Basis Release 700 SP Level 0023. Also Support Package Manager- Version 7.00/0053.

Thanks Dell for the quick response. For this case, this file is being called/executed directly within an ERP system and the report file wouldn't be opened for any other reason by anyone. Based on this, what would be the best way to confirm which application currently has that file open?

Jose, thank you soooo much for updating this old thread with a solution back in 2014! Just wanted to note that in SQ02 the menu Goto -> Query directory is NOT the same as menu Environment -> Directories -> Queries for infoset. Hopefully it saves some time to those who (like me) only see the keywords and conclude they know the rest already.
