There are some OSS notes that describe some wrong usage of SAVE_TEXT, look for OSS/KBA notes like 1982719 - Texts cannot be displayed - Usage of function module SAVE_TEXT or 2100649 - Unable to view long text after using function module SAVE_TEXT. Usually the master data record contains a field "long text exists"...

My guess is you're not using BW but Universes as source right ?
If so, not that, by design by SAP, setFilter return everything if no data. On BW, this unexpected is not here, and the dataset would be empty.
I would suggest to create a separated datasource with aggregated data on with your years and use the getData function to check if you have something meaningfull, and implement your behavior.
We have a incredibly hard time with the setFilter on universes ...
If you're using only charts, you can also use setDataSelection instead , whereas no data will be displayed (but you will not be able to know it ...).

Basically, the parameters for the PAR file need to be provided by BCM in the input file along with the payload/payment data.
SWIFT package in PI then splits this into separate Payload and instruction files.
If the parameters are not provided by BCM, you can create this file in PI manually (provided you have all the required values and format from BCM consultant) but you have to modify the design and config objects to accommodate this.

Could you please check what is the status of the Project (First Implementation)?
It is not possible to Edit the project when the status of implementation project is not Started (e.g: status merged, activated, etc).
In this case you need to create a new project and do the scoping changes in the new project.

I think I found it.... instead of cl_bcs use CL_BCS_MESSAGE. This does not commit nothing until you call send method and you have choice if you want to do it in update task (method SET_UPDATE_TASK). During save method it checks if you want update task or not and then it calls FM SBCS_SEND or SBCS_SEND_UPDATE. Seems like now wrapper function is needed for that (as long you don't want to pimp this class).
Example of usage can be found in program RSBCS_EXAMPLE_EMAIL.

PI graphical mapping: target node based on two source nodes
Hello experts,
I have an incoming structure like this:
the target structure is:
Where (number of ITEM) = (number of SPLIT) X (number of LINEITEM)
EMAIL = SPLIT[Owner]
PARTN_ROLE = Index of SPLIT
ITM_NUMBER = LINEITEM[LineNumber]
How do I do this using graphical mapping and/or UDFs?
Any help is appreciated.

So this's not a bug this a feature. You can't expose export datasources anymore using RODPS_OS_EXPOSE, unless you comment this part of code. According to SAP support you should:
1.Create ODP source system (BW context) Creating an ODP Source System - Modeling - SAP Library
2.Then create ODP datasource Creating DataSources for ODP Source Systems - Modeling - SAP Library
3.Expose it using RODPS_OS_EXPOSE
4.Import it in Data Services

I tested the response and the xslt mapping is working fine in ESR. I got response structure using SOAP UI, with the same payload I get from SXI_MONITOR.
Is XMBWS.NoSOAPIgnoreStatusCode the parameter name for soap Module Key?
