Set the cell's numberformat.
Something like:
lole_result.application.workbooks(1).worksheets(1).Columns("C").NumberFormat = "#,##0.00;-#,##0.00"
for the third column (C).

Hi,
I had created an LSMW with the necessary recordings of SU01. The email address which is maintained in the recording should update only to ADR6. But when i checked SM50 it is taking time to update ADR7 table (remote email address). The ADR7 table is non-indexed so the speed of the user creation has dropped very much and with addition of each entry it is going even slower. Can you please help in suggesting a solution.

I agree with Tammy, you can have the Lumira Desktop on your windows machine and should be configured to access the BI platform in the VM.
You can build visualizations and storyboards in the Lumira Server itself. But as a prerequisite, the basic Lumira document with the acquired data needs saved to the BI platform from the desktop application.

If you open AO and run Find for "IBP" or "ERP" it will show you those 3 Workbooks.
To move data there are push buttons that are tied to Planning Sequences (Functions). Those Functions are implemented as FOX formulas. Those FOX formulas contain FM calls that read/write data from/to ERP using BAPIs.
It's a natural function of FOX to read/write data to Real Tim Cubes.

Do you mean build them from Launchpad etc in BIP? Reason I asked this is I don't see a program or interface for LS4BIP or I should install anything else to be able to build visualizations in LS, please clarify.

Hi Krishna,
I have seen clients use VPN/Citrix to connect to the BI platform on the RDP/VM from the desktop applications. This is usually taken care by the systems admin, you might want to check if there is any resources from BI Platform | SCN.

I am trying to update from BusinessObjects BI platform 4.1 SP4 to SP6. However when I run the update, I get an error "SetupEngine.exe has stopped working", with the problem event name: "APPCRASH".
I have been searching discussion boards without success.
I have tried copying the "InstallCache" folder from a backup and from another server, but the same error occurs.
Would anyone have a solution to this issue?

The first thing would be to configure Lumira Server to the BI platform then save the Lumira documents from your LD. SAP Lumira for Beginners : (5/5) Share Insights
These documents can then be accessed from the BI launchpad where you can edit further.
If you are new to Lumira, I would recommend you focus setting up the desktop app and get the storyboards ready in parallel to trying to connect the Desktop and the Server.

For Sales order, when we save it, system transfer the data as incoming order and creation date is the order received date. Even if order is not fully completed because of number of line items or planned costs and revenue are not correct extra. We have option to user the workflow for approval and only then data flow to CO-PA, but still problem is that as soon as we approve the sales order, system use the same date for order received, the date on which order is creation and not the order released date. Is there any way we can influence on order received date.

Christopher is absolutely right. Depending on the datatype you need to create an expression.
in the dw painter you would doubleclick a column in the sort painter (rows>sort...), then enter the expression. For dynamic sort you need to put the expression together:
For example:
SetSort( if (isnull(mydate), date('2030-01-01'),mydate) A")
or
SetSort( if (isnull(mydate), date('1900-01-01'),mydate) D")

What condition did you use for the Loop?
It's not too hard to get a loop to work, just use a counter and a wait step. Try it in a separate test workflow first. Make sure the counter is getting incremented.
What exactly is the problem - it doesn't go into the loop at all? Or the loop never stops?

Extended the BP data model and added the Ztable. Created handler class and added the Ztable fields into Separate composite UIBB ( this UIBB has form and LIST componenet, that is reason for using the Composite UIBB). Followed the Node extension ( reuse mode )recommendation provided in SCN MDG.
I have 3 issues here.
1. If I do not enter any value in custom UIBB, getting the dump after submitting the CR "Access Previously Deleted Entity"
2. I did a deep copy because, we need to have different UI layout based on account group, like one with standard UI and other with above custome table. If I add the custom UIBB to standard BP_OVP_CU_CL, then its working fine, the handler class working as expected, data getting saved into Ztable. However, custome UIBB in deep copied UI config, let say Z_BP_OVP_CU_CL_CP01, on the final approval and at activation step, am getting dump.
3. also basic check and reuse active area check not working as expected and standard BP_OVP_CU_CL is working as expected in this case.
