Hello Ying,

 

This is common error when your CVC is locked which is preventing ATP Check. Many time retrying the ATP Check can also solve this locking issue.  

 

Yes, Lock entries can be deleted using SM12 or RS12. I will suggest, please check Tcode. SM04 to know the list of users currently in the system and what transaction they are using etc.  If you blindly delete any lock entries from SM12, it may create a problem/inconsistency with the data. Details from SM04 will help you avoid deletion of genuine lock entry from SM12.

Hi Choi

Basically, It  is layout issue I faced and its rectified now. As you said I have corrected the columns and formlulas and changed the "file description" and edited the default parameters. My friends helped me to correct the layout issues.

APO Demand Planning weak points / Most common enhancements

What are some of the weak points you saw in APO Demand Planning - Meaning some feature which you think is not working as you should work and some feature which Planners/users complained about.

 

What are some of the areas where you had to use ABAP development ( Implementation or continuous improvement/support phase) because SAP doesnt have that standard feature

 

It is ok to mention even though these changes are because of a specific business procedure followed by your client -But try to mention any generic ones which sort of applies to every client such as lets say you feel auto model selection 56 doesnt work correctly and you had a work around to make it work better

 

I know this is a loaded question but contribute as much as you can so that we all can deliver the best output and make APO DP more likeable to our clients

Hi Phani,

 

You are welcome.  My offer is to repeat the same issue you face in my system and below is what i've tested in my ECC 6.0 environment.

 

Without Posting Block Checked in Billing Doc Config.

Creation of Billing Document WOPB with account determination error.  Posting Status is reflecting as "Error in accounting interface" before saving (VF01) and "B Posting Document Not Created (Account determ. Error" after saving(VF03).  This is another inconsistency with your system.

 

 

With Posting Block Checked in Billing

Creation of Billing Doc WPB with account determination error.  Posting status is reflected as "A Billing document blocked for forwarding to FI" both before and after saving.

 

Now in VFX3, Billing Doc WPB is reflected as accounting block, while billing doc WOPB is reflected as "acct determin. error". 

 

What's really interesting here is the difference in Posting Status in VF01 between your system and mine.  With posting block checked, my billing block is reflected as "A Billing document blocked for forwarding to FI" instead of what you have observed "Account Determination Error".  This is the inconsistency that I've noticed.

Connecting NW system to ECC - Transport Management

Hi Experts,

 

Is it possible to connect a NW system (NW 701 - Java AS) with ECC system (ECC 6.0 SP08 on NW 7.0) and transport developments from one to another?

Is it possible to transport or will it lead to problems due to version mismatch of NW components (SAP_ABA, SAP_BASIS etc.) ?

Sapanesh, unfortunately that didn't help and as you can see from the thread above i did several re-installations of both Office and Dashboard with several system adjustments and as admin.

Nothing can get it open.

I don't have access to the BW 7.01 instance so couldn't say for sure, can you select a BODS data source in an infopackage? I know it is definitely available in 7.3, it may be worthwhile trying this as I have been involved in multiple large BW integration projects (I am on the BODS side) and this is the methodology we have used and is promoted by SAP Max Attention.

 

Sorry I cannot be more help, I know with older version of BODS (3.x) you were limited to push and these issues were more common.

If you are developing Hybrid based workflow application, you can find the results in workflow log ("<Sybase installation>/Unwiredplatform/Servers/UnwiredServer/Log/WorkflowClient"). Search with your user id, so you can find logs related to that user.

 

Enable your "Monitoring" in SCC for managing your logs easily. By default it will be disabled.

Hi,

As bi Java system is configured to call the LPD_CUST so no change in that space.

 

Try to create a system in system landscape of the portal pointing to BI java system with the below details.

 

System Name : name that you want to give

System Type : 

Web AS Description  :  Name that you want to give

Web AS Host Name  : <hostname of the bi java system >:5XX00

Web AS Path : /webdynpro/dispatcher or try to keep this empty...

Web AS Protocol http/https

 

 

 

 

Alais Name should be that with withc you would be calling the BI JAVA system via iview.

solman_workcenter login

Hi all,

 

I've seen a few topic on this, most of which mention about SSO. Here's the issue I'm facing. Some users when they log into solman and go to solman_workcenter, it pops up with a login screen and asks the user to input their password, however for other users it does not do this. Any one have any idea how to get around this problem?

Issue seems to be with generation of data source. Generate data source in source system and then try to replicate it in BW. Once replicated activate it. This will resolve your issue.
