Dashboard based on Bex query - design Q
Hi experts,
I have a requirement to create a dashboard with 6 graphs. I have a single source Bex detailed query but the challenge is that I need data aggregated in 12 different ways. Which is the best option to get best performance? Which option will execute the 12 queries in parallel and not sequentially?
I have less than 200 output records (low volume) to work with.
Options:
1. 1 Bex query --> 1 OLAP connection --> 12 dashboard queries
2. 1 Bex query --> 12 OLAP connections --> 12 dashboard queries
3. 12 Bex queries --> 12 OLAP connections --> 12 dashboard queries
I am using BI 4.1 SP5. Any pointers will greatly help to achieve optimal performance in this scenario.

Hi Naomi,
The assignment from InfoObject 0WBS_ELEMT to InfoObject ZXWBSELMT is not automatically proposed since the InfoObject technical names are different. Here a manual action is necessary:
- Go to the Transformation in change mode;
- Select target segment Hierarchy Structure (as shown in the screenshot);
- Either draw a line from 0WBS_ELEMT to ZXWBSELMT or define a new rule for InfoObject ZXWBSELMT (rule type "Direct Assignment" with source InfoObject 0WBS_ELEMT);
- Activate the Transformation;
- Go back to the DTP and activate it again.
In my example this was the only manual assignment which I had to make, all ohers were automatically proposed. I expect this is the only missing piece.

Hi all,
I need to build unique values based on my source records. The values can be in any order as shown below. Any dashboard component or excel function that can help achieve this? I have looked at the filtered rows option that gives the unique labels but there is no option to bind the unique labels to excel, which I will need for further logic.

Problem in PT60 for Quota generation and Changing T.EVL status in 0007
Dear all,
I am trying to copy exiting record of infotype 0007.
Current Record
Want to save
Pers. Retro date is 01.01.2014, same is of payroll record and T569R table. am currently using using PT60 for quota generation.
But I want to edit entries in 2006 infotype and at times create manual for example for upload existing balances. so When I tried to do, so system automatically clear quota number field (628440 Note is implemented that effects INAUT_ANZHL_2251).
Could you mates please help me on first why it is not allowing save. and I how can I handle manual entry

Using inset row button and put maualy condition type as per your requirement with %.
than go to item condition detail for putting the parter vendor in it.

In Second Column In place of Gratuity it should be Dearness Allowance and inplace of 1010 it should be 1000

Like all variables, you initialize object reference variables using the CLEAR statement.
As soon as there are no more references to an object, and so long as none of its methods are registered as event handlers, it is deleted by the automatic memory management (garbage collection). The ID of the object then becomes free, and can be used by a new object.

I also know that measure with facets are very useful. However, my current information space should not appear measure as in attached facet and that why I want to mask those measures in attached facets if possible.
