Hi,
- What is the work flow that user open this Webi report in BI Launchpad? Does this "Cannot perform the intended action on this document. (WIS 30650)" error occurs when the report is opened or when it is been modified?
- Are all WIReportServers in the BI4.0 cluster share the same cache directory/folder?
- Can you persistently replicate this (WIS 30650) error per user's work flow? If so, can you recreate this problem report and add the report object one by one and see which one and where it got failed?

How to make a web dynpro table line read only?
Hiya,
I have a screen that has a table (not ALV) with a 'save' button.
The user enters values into the table - some lines they leave blank becasue they want a rest and would like to fill them in later.
The user presses the 'save' button and the lines with values are saved to the database.
However I'd also like these lines, with values, to now be read only - so the user can't edit them.
Now, I know how to make the whole table read only via:
But how would you do it for specific table rows?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

I made that change and, at first glance, it appeared to fix it. However, it is suppressing the very first record for DESCRIPTION, as well as others that I know involve records with duplicate values in the LONG_DESC field.

De estan la unica que aplico para solucionar mi problema fue 48400 de la cual aplique las siguientes actividades
Se depuro en la SPAD
Se depuraron los jobs con con el programa RSBTCDEL2
Se depuro el temse con el programa RSTS0022
Despues de esto ya se pudo trabajar en mi sistema de BW.
Pero esto me dejo muchas dudas ya que la nota comenta que no puedo realizar depuracion en job de fondo que las depuraciones tienen que realizarce en procesos de linea.
Me gustaria saber como puedo monitorear el temse o cuales son las mejores practicas para mantener el temse sin problemas
yo ya tengo programas que borran mis ordenes de spool antigual y que borran los resultados de mis jobs antiguos que son parte de los JOB de mantenimiento del sistema, que mas puedo realizar para mantener el temse controlado y no ocaciones problemas en mi sistemas SAP BW, SAP R3.

Thanks Ada, yes. I think some more "standard" options can be provided in this TSCOPY job. Something similar I would expect in TSCUBE too.. I did not personally foresee need for latter but copy jobs should do something more than copy.. coming from something like SAP that has 101 options in other programs esp. in ECC that most people do not even use :-).

Re: Spool space error
Hi Raveesh,
I would suggest you to copy the query in Teradata Query editor and check the stats by using EXPLAIN command.
Syntax:
EXPLAIN <SQL_of_report>
How many tables are used in the query?
What is the number of rows in each table?
Instead of columnn names, simply put count(*) and check the number of rows coming.
Make sure if proper indexs are in place.
Spool space is actually the unused perm space. it is generally the space left after storing tables and used to keep query results.
You could sit with ur DBA to check the memory allocation and could work on reducing the actual table size.
The issue is not related to BusinessObjects but memory allocation in Teradata.

Thanks for writing a nice article on customization of work manager application. I am referring to your post at Syclo Customization Extension-First Steps.
I had few questions related to extension of existing work order object. I am trying to show few newly added fields on the work manager application front end. we have made changes in the ECC already.
1) the extension class that you have written, says:
public class Workorder extends SAPObject
Here, I am just confirming that this is not an "Extension" of existing standard workorder class (com.syclo.sap.component.workorder.object)
So, we are just making a copy of previous workorder class and adding it in a new JAR file under custom namespace.
2) Can you please help me on where I can configure the assignment of factory createObject method so that it will now instantiate the custom class directly? I checked for settings in the eclipse based editor but couldn't find it anywhere. Is it to be done at the ECC side?
I could only find the config panel at the ECC side. so does that mean that we have to put the custom java package name in ECC?
3) when we "Extend" the existing work order class, there might be many more classes which are utilizing the base class. for example, steplets will still refer to the base class.
now, if I have to update my custom fields and transmit them back to ECC, this will require me to change many more steplet classes, am I correct?
Appreciate your input on the same.

Re: Connection settings for the Hybrid web Container.
This note is saying, before the HWC will launch it must be configured with connection settings to the server, e.g. server name, port, etc..
The application can obtain these settings a couple of ways:
1) The user manually enters them in via the Settings Screen (this is the default implementation)
2) You can customize the HWC to provide some or all of these settings so the user does not need to manually enter in the info. Sounds like this is what you want to do? If so, please take a look at:

I think you are looking for a way to restrict users to execute re-alignment. If you are looking for standard authorization objects, you can check it in TCode SU24. It looks like Authorization Object C_APO_RLG or C_APO_CPY may be considered.
However, I would suggest that you give this requirement to your security team and let them find the best way to meet this in your enviroment. If they have questions, security related forums might be a good place to get answers.

Hi Andreas,
you can not achieve the output with graphical mapping because of line item. How you will differetiate the line item belongs to first order header or second order header.
the possible options are
- Use Java map and parse the whole XML to output structure
- If you doing content conversion then try to convert that into simle structure which has grouped line item.

CR Xi Export dlls not working
We are in the middle of updating our reports from version 8.5 to Xi (Xi because no later version are compatible with our CRM).
I want to export a report to Excel 8 Extended. This option is not available in Xi. However it is in version 8.5
System info : Windows 7 or 8 professional, Xi Professional - 32 bit
I have seem many posts about this issue and have tried a myriad of different approaches, all to no avail.
I have:
- renamed all occurances of crxf_xls.dll to OLD-crxf_xls.dll
- copied u2fxlsdll to c:\windows\system32, and to the folder where the CR Xi executable lives
- Uninstalled and reinstalled CR Xi
- tried to register u2fxlsdll (yes, I know only com objects need to be registered)
- searched for registry (regedit) for this dll (not found)
What do I need to try next?

We have BPC 10. The Parent Account does have both EXP and INC ACCTYPEs within it. Would that affect it? When I run your code, the value does not add up correctly.
