Unable to start JAVA stack after JVM update

Hi All,

 

I was updating SAP JVM to 6.1_64 using SUM, during the restart of java stack the upgrade process hanged.

 

when I checked in log(std_server0.out) below is the error message I found, please suggest me.

 

FATAL: Critical shutdown with exit code [2150] was requested due to [AS Java cannot be started; core service [cross] failed to start]

Hi Andrew,

 

1) Noted, expected this answer actually.

 

2) User has to click on the activity from Activities screen which then the activity workspace would be shown with the hyperlinks. Is it possible to place the hyperlinks on the Activities screen itself in once user clicks on the activity from Activities screen, the hyperlinks (e.g. Package or input templates) would be launched directly?

 

3) User can complete (click "complete" button) the activity even without performing the activity.

Hi Sharu

 

This report is meant to display the Plan and Actual values at Cost element level.. Hence, when you enter plan data from KPF6 it is displayed in the report

 

I am not sure if there exists a report that shows Plan data without CE and Actuals with CE in the same report against each other, because I have not seen it

 

May be you can copy this report to a Z in GRR1 and double click on the cells under the "Plan" Column and inactive them... However, I am not sure if this would work..

 

Another option is to see this report without cost elments... In this case as well, you can copy the report to a Z in GRR1

 

To identify the report in GRR1, just execute this S_ALR report and click on menu "Extras > Tech Info".. This will show which GRR report is behind this report

Hi Christian

 

The position of your module looks correct. Even the link below confirms it.

In the receiver adapter, if you want to add your own modules to process the request message, you add them before the module specified below; if you want to add your own modules to process the response message, you add them after the following module:

sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.soapadapter/XISOAPAdapterBean

 

I tested this out with the module configuration below and it works fine.

From the audit log, you can see the BIC conversion is successful and the SOAP message successfully transmitted. I checked on the receiver side, and the EDIFACT flat file was received.

Can you add the "destTargetMsg" parameter = "MainDocument"? I think your BIC conversion is saving the converted document under a different attachment name, but the SOAP adapter is sending out the MainDocument (which is still the EDIFACT XML). This parameter should replace the MainDocument with the converted file.

Hi,

 

I managed to resolve my issue.  The type FITV_POWL_TRIPS_EXP_ASSISTANT was earlier not assigned to application FITV-POWL-TRIPS-ASSISTANT.  I have done the setup via POWL_TYPER.  It is okay now.

Configuration for depreciation Keys for multiple calculations

Dear Experts

 

How to configure Depreciation key for MACRS-5 years and 7 years.

 

Also Please help me in understanding the  role of phases in Depreciation keys.

 

Client is having different percentages for 5 Years

 

1 year- 20%                         Diminishing Balance Method

 

2 Year-32%                        Diminishing Balance Method

 

3 Year -19.2%                     Diminishing Balance Method

 

4. Year -11.520%               Straight Line Method

 

5 Year-11.520%                 Straight Line Method

 

6 Year-5.760%                   Straight Line Method

 

 

Another scenario is for Special Depreciation is 50% in the 1st year and for  the remaining 50% of the
acquisition value,  the above percentages are to be applied.

 

Need help in assignment of calculation method configuration. Please help me the configuration steps for this scenario.

Hi. Yes, both exits:

 

Z_ML_SET_PP_STATUS_70 > This program is a modificacion to the standard in order to force the status Close for Material Ledger. Details in oss 1605489 - Z_ML_SET_PP_STATUS_70


CKMLCPAVR> Is not a program, its a tcode. This tcode if for the close of Alternative Valuation Run or for the close with BF FIN_CO_COGM .

Front end Script cannot access List data fields

Hi, I'm trying to implement some front end scripting and can't seem to access the data elements bound to a AdvancedListPane Control.

 

I'm expecting to be able to perform an operation similar to:

 

$data.DataList.Get(0).FamilyName

 

and then perform some operation that particular cell.

 

Unfortunately I can never get a script file to access the elements inside a list. Can anyone help please?

Hi,

It would be better to use the cardname for such cases. If you are trying to create fms, it would be possible but for report, better to use cardname.

Book List Restriction on the Number of Participants

Hi,

 

When I choose the option of ‘Book List’ from the dynamic attendance menu (PSV1) against business event in the training and event management system, and I copy and paste the attendees from an Excel list, the maximum number of participants that will paste at one time is 14. To add additional attendees I need to go into SAP and scroll down the 'Book Attendee List: Data' dialogue box to empty lines and paste in blocks of 14.

 

Is there a better way to do this? I am trying to book up to 250 attendees at one time.

CL_SALV_COLUMNS_TABLE is a final class. So it will show a syntax error.

So could you please suggest.

Hi Isha,

 

You can achieve your requirement by using either TABLE ui element or ALV in web dynpro.

 

Please follow the below steps: ( By using Table ui element )

  • Create a custom table for storing data ZTR_DATA
  • Create a context node MY_DATA by using ddic structure ZTR_DATA with cardinality 0....n
  • Create an ui element TABLE on layout of your view and bind it to the context node MY_DATA
  • Go to method WDDOINIT( ) of your view, write the logic to get the data from ZTR_DATA and bind it to the context node MY_DATA by using method LO_NODE->BIND_TABLE( new_items = lt_data )
  • On action of SAVE button, you can read the data of context node ( table data  ) by using method lo_node->get_static_attributes_table( ) and save  lt_data to  ZTR_DATA

Hi Chen,

Your statement is implicit, i hope i got the point.

 

In the Editor,you can choose  Utilities -> Version -> Back to activated Version

Then you can retract what you have done in Editor.

 

Well, when it comes to busisness object, i hope function modules 'STATUS_UPDATE' or 'I_CHANGE_STAUS' will be favourable.
