Is there any way PI can read the response coming from SAP in proxy in the same interface and send mail notification if Response = E and no mail notification when response = S.

Screen Personas - Document billing not found with ref. delivery
Hi All,
I created a javascript button for save first screen in va01 , after save Sales order, execute transactions : Delivery (VL01N) / post goods isse and billing (VF01).
But the process "Post goods issue" is realized in update task and billin process return this message: "Document XXXX does not exist" Message no. VF03.
However when I inform documento number XXXX (Delivery) in VF01. The error does not happen. Because document number XXXX has been commited in data base.
I belive it is necessary to await processing "Post goods issue", but do not know how to do.
I tried command wait in javascript "setTimeout(function(){},5000);" , but did not work. Can anyone help me with any tips ?

You don't. You can only change this entry for mrp groups that have already been created.
If you have missing entries, create a new MRP group via OPPR; then you can define safety stock availability.

Binding BW mandatory variables to dashboards
Hi Experts
I am using 4 different BEx queries and using SAP netweaver BW data connection here. I have 2 mandatory prompts which are common to all these 4 queries. I need to understand how can these BW variables /prompts be leveraged on a dashboard. I would like to have a combo box selection with default values and want to give user a capability to alter the selection of these two combo boxes.
Is there any step by step document from which I can get to know how to bind these variables and have some initial default values in xcelsius ?
PS- Please be aware that I cannot use query browser here as I need to have cross tab data organization and need to host this dashboard on SAP BW portal and not on BI launchpad

Tariq,
Pretty vague question. You can create joins in an ABAP program, or while creating a view, or when creating a SAP query of one type or another. Some people download tables and then join them using desktop software. If you can elaborate your question I may be able to give you a better answer.
I recently joined two wooden tables at a picnic. I used 24 gauge galvanized wire combined with duct tape, so I guess you couldn't really call that an 'inner join'.

Hi,
I haven't heard of anything for Webstorm yet. The library of plugins seems to exist here -JetBrains WebStorm Plugin Repository. If there isn't anything out there that satisfies then why don't we create an opensource plugin?
I haven't had any issues with UI5 development in Webstorm though. The areas that could use a bit of improvement however could be something to help with view creation, XML etc.? That would be on my wishlist.

Hi Anshul, are you aware the SAP Dashboards can easily display data in cross-tab format, regardless of what connection it is using and where it is published to? In addition, the SAP Dashboards that is published to BI Launchpad can be easily called in Netweaver Portal (if you are using Netweaver Portal). In my humble opinion, publishing to BI Launchpad is a better route. Otherwise, you lose the ability to deploy the dashboard to mobile devices like iPad.

I understood that ECC is not sending out messages to PI system through ABAP proxy ? If yes, did you checked in outbound queues (SMQ2) ?did you find any messages in SXI_MONITOR ( or sxmb_moni) for this interface ?

2)Under Expand button -> Custom Expand select some level which is not present in your dimension as shown
Now using some API you can disable Data Analysis tab

I tried to check any task profile related to it but couldn't find..

Mobility is not needed. BIWS, Live office cannot be used at my client site due to certain limitations at the client site. Now to consume BEx queries only 2 options are left 1. query browser 2. SAP bw Netweaver data connection. I am sure with query browser you cannot get a cross tab data organization in your embedded excel . You need to apply excel formulae. Anyways neither these are very important , my question was mapping BW variables in dashboards . Do you have any suggestions for that . Please refer to my question as I can see you have just commented the thing which was mentioned in my PS comment .

Re: Error handling at JDBC Receiver
Hello,
I would suggest you to go with SP.
By default, PI will handle the transaction and in case of any errors it will rollback the entire statement. So u can allow SP to handle the transactions by asking ur DB team to create a SP with a try/catch statement and in case of any errors while performing DML operations catch those exceptions and log those erroneous records in some exception log table and continue the SQL process.
Eventually, either using SQL mailer or some windows services u can send a consolidated mail to the stakeholders. Just check with ur DB team since these are very normal stuff so i am quite sure ur DB admin would certainly help u on the same.

There are several differences between 4.6B and ECC6. Many bugs were corrected and maybe you have implemented a modification that is missing after the upgrade.
I suggest you to look for notes on the SAP Service Marketplace, in order to check if there was any change on this topic or if there is any modification available to control the system behavior.

Dynamic Subtotal that includes Local Member in sum
Hi,
I have a dynamic report that i have separated into sections using blank local members. Now within one of these groups is a local member row that is an EPMRETRIEVEDATA function that is pulling some other data. Finally, I have a repeating subtotal local member that totals the values for each group of cost centers.
My issue is that the SUBTOTAL local member won't include the EPMRETRIEVEDATA local member in the sum.
It doesn't matter if I use sum of EPMSELECTEDMEMBERS or EPMALLMEMBERS. Of course, I can code in the excel reference but then the subtotal isn't dynamic and the reference will be incorrect if the report expands.
FYI, in the attached picture, the highlighted row is the local member with EPMRETRIEVEDATA and the row below in bold is the SUBTOTAL.
Any help with this is much appreciated!

From your screenshot I could observe that there is 140 on stock and there is no requirement for this material, therefore, MRP should not create any replenishment proposal.
Try to add a safety stock on the material master or try to create some PIRs (more than 140), so that there is a requirement to be covered by MRP.

You may have to consider the following SAP Note
489676 - External billing documents cannot be cancelled due to VF 188
The below mentioned SAP Notes are also quite relevant to the above Note(Applicable based on the actual issue and the type of issue)

| 325365 | Correction of incorrectly posted POS IDocs |
| 857310 | Message VF 056 during the cancellation of a billing document |
PS : Please take some time to read all the relevant Notes and compare it with your current issue and then apply the notes accordingly(As in some case you may not need to remove the entries from Infostructures if they are not active/updating etc)

How to get decision basis data in one call
Hi BRFplus gurus,
Need an input on following scenario :
Creating a customize class (treated as API between CRM and BRFplus) to call all relevant data for an entity type in one call i.e.
We want an Z class to retrieve all relevant data for a entity type in one go. Secondly, How do I make sure that the call to the class is only once and the applications in the BRFplus are using only the buffered data from the call and not calling the Z class again and again.
Any relevant guidance would be much helpful.
