I have few questions related ESS EPH3 webdynpro java and SAP Portal 7.01
Self service admin role is not available in DEV Portal. But i am not able to find the Self Service Admin role in QA and Production Portals. Please let me , do i need to transport that role from DEV to QA and production manually using transport package? Even the ESS BP is deployed in QA and Production Portal also. I am able to see the the other standard PCD content related to ESS in QA and Production Portals , but not the Self Service Admin role.
Please clarify it.
I have two more questions related to ESS customization.
How to integrate the custom component in the ESS BP application as one new step using the ESS Road map functionality( using FPM component).
Because, we have enhanced the Benefits application and introduced the custom plans , for that functionality we have enhanced the standard application by creating the two custom webdynpro component and added the new road map steps to availble based the selection. But the custom road map component is displaying custom component is DEV Portal, Transported the both webdynpro and FM changes to QA environment.
But it is not displaying the custom road map component in QA Portal. Please let me know if any thing i missed to transport. Any changes we need to transport from Portal (PCD).
Kindly clarify it.
