You can assign an Authorisation Group to the Target Group (Standard Screen Configuration to add to the view).
Then use SAP Standard Authorisations to manage who can access what Target Group.

Transfer posting versus stock transfer
Hello gurus,
Could you please help me with a doubt in regarding this subject?
My intention is to use a transfer posting movement, such as, 309 in order to change a stock type or any stock characteristics w/o moving the material.
For example, I want to use 413 IM to change a material to sales order stock and also create a TO not confirming it right away, the problem is I'm not able to do it due the following behaviors:
1- If I set the 309 in WM with for example source 922 TR-ZONE and destination 922 TR-ZONE, at the end of the process I'm creating this stock virtually in 922 TR-ZONE w/o even creating a TO. Instead, I need to change a material in a Physical bin such as 100 DOCKWALL.
2-If I try to set 309 as stock removal and if a create a storage type search to pick the stock from 100 DOCKWALL and send it to the same, the system shows me an error in MB1B saying the source bin doesn't exist. By the way, if I go to LT01 to create manually the TO, the search works perfectly.
3-If I try to set 413 IM movement to a transfer WM movement in OMKX, it doesn't work because the system keep using 309 during MB1B process.
So maybe I have any conceptual issue with what I'm trying to do, but the only thing I need to see is FROM Bin DOCKWALL - Quantitity 1 - Special Stock "" TO Bin DOCKWALL - Quantitity 1 - Special Stock "E". I don't want to see stock changed in temporary storage type and bin.

Hello Lars,
I am replying by the first few lines of your query.
- It seems you have a direct QS41 arrangement in whichever client you are talking about.
- For problems like this in standard configuration, we are allowed to do QS41 only in golden client (Dev200) and then transport the work to other clients.
- In such environment there is no usage of these codes in DEV200, because we can not create any data there. So we are free to delete the codes and transport to client where these codes are already were used.
- There won't be any problem in transporting such deletions.
- This code will not be available for further use.
- What happens to the previously used codes is their Descriptions (Code texts) will be disappeared.
Hope this information is of some use to you, before more apt replies arrive.

Social media available for Accounts as well?
HI
Can you guys confirm if social media channels (Facebook, Twitter) are also available for Accounts and not just for Individual Customers?
Will the Account's Social Media Profile appear once I run the extraction job? I see the Social Media Profile in the Individual Customers but not in the Accounts.

Re: Custom OVS
Hi Amber,
A few tips....
If you have not created an OVS before, I would start with a standard object first. To get an idea how it works with an existing BO. Lets us Service Category BO as an example... Here is a copy of the solution. Load into your solution so you can see it...
1. Bind it to the Service Category BO -> Query By Hierarchy. Notice that you create data model elements under the search parameters structure for each filter field. I noticed you mapped multiple parameters to the same query data model element/value
quick tip, click on ... button
right click on the searchparameters structure and choose add data field. It will create a new data field and bind it and name it the same as the filter parameter in one shot.
2. define some inports you want to default the filter panel.
3. bind the object ID to the ID in the data model (you can always add your own ID field but this will at least keep it easy to show the ID field everywhere in the OVS) without further adjustments. do the same for object name to the name ...
4. do nothing for the outport (since you used the standard object ID and object name)
5. object name and object ID are standard fields in the list. I renamed the title of the columns of Service Category/Category ID respectively.
Then use this OVS on any field for a test.... this general how to will work on all standard objects. Once you get this working you can replace the query with a SADL query to make it performant since SADL queries are the best practice way to configure an OVS
For a custom object, I have always bound the Object ID field as the "alternate key" field of the BO. Above "ID" is the alternate key for service category BO...

Hi Ad,
Please take a look at REFDI.chm search for SetSystemPermission.
Seems like we can set it, but the permission lists does not list out the ID for this permission.
Not sure if it is not updated, or they intentionally not disclosing it.
If you ever find what the ID is, please do share it with us.
Note, I believe only a superuser can set this though.

Hi,
What is exactly your definition of a "Generic" DataSource? From your questions I derive that you define a Generic DataSource as one that is created using t/code RSO2 in the customer namespace (starting with prefix A* - Z*). Opposite of Generic DataSource is a Business Content DataSource (starting with prefix 0*).
Both DataSources can be found in the same tables (e.g. ROOSOURCE and ROOSFIELD). There is not a single field where you can distinguish between them. The only identifier is the prefix in the technical name: prefix A* - Z* for a custom made (Generic) DataSource and prefix 0* for a Business Content DataSource. For the last category you can also find a DataSource in object version 'D' (delivered).

Do you know where is the physical path of the folder where BPC 10 NW files are stored?
In transaction UJFS just show this path for example /ROOT/WEBEXCEL .... but what is the value of ROOT?? what is the physical path in server?

DataSource 0EC_PCA_1 (Transaction Data) does not have Division and it will be difficult to enhance it because of the aggregation level of the data.
I suggest to evaluate if DataSource 0EC_PCA_3 (Line Item) could be used. Here you have the field SPART (Division) available. From here it will be much easier in my opinion, even if you would have to aggregate the data before it can be used in the MultiProvider.

Custom logic for Replenishment
Experts,
I have below custom logic to be implemented for replenishment,
- Warehouse has fixed as well as overflow storage types. While doing replenishment for a product, if there is a fixed bin then it should be filled up first. Assuming there are no fixed bins or no (more) fixed bins then overflow bins should be filled.
I would like to split up in overflow bins - Assume my replen. qty is 2 HUs(i am performing full pallet only) and assume there are no fixed bins. In this case, i will have to pick overflow bins. Say i get first overflow bin which has space for 1 HU. In this case the remaining HU should go to next overflow bin.
I am using BADI /scwm/ex_core_pts_nbin_nrm for this requirement. I see that this BADI is called only at storage type level. In my case, this behavior does not allow me to fill multiple overflow bins as they are getting filled with replen. quantity. For the same above example, BADI gets called for overflow storage type and i am able to propose first overflow bin which can hold 1HU. Warehouse task gets created as expected for this bin. But the other HU which has to be replenished is not getting replenished as BADI does not get called again for same overflow storage type.
Please share your valuable inputs.
