In talking with some of the Engineering folks, during the initial sync the transmit configurations are not yet active so there is a default timeout used which they believe is 30 minutes and would explain the behavior you are seeing.

 

One thought would be to disable that table to complete the initial sync and then enable it for the second sync where the transmit config timeouts will then be in effect and allow for the additional time needed.

 

Perhaps you can create a pre-built client with the data already loaded to avoid this for your users on their initial sync.

1. I am not using the '{', '}', '@', '?' symbols.  The crystal reports designer is automatically inserting the @ prefix when I drag the Overlap Formula Field from the Field Explorer to the report.

Hi Philip,

 

A value from an object can be categorized by one If condition only, as soon as a condition is met, the subsequent If conditions don't bother to check for the values which have already satisfied a condition, make sense?

 

What are the different conditions that you're trying to check for a value? You can use an AND to specify 2 conditions.


One workaround is to bring in duplicate data, so you can use the data (original) to categorize as response from first If condition (as "1" or "2" in your case) and then the duplicate data to categorize as response from 2nd If condition (as "Overall" in your case). Does that make sense?

There is no option to enter the supplying vendor (partner role GS)  in a goods receipt.

This info is retrieved from EKPA table. And EKPA gets its update when you select one of the GS partner at order creation.

The GS partner role has a special function for Intrastat reporting which is a legal requirement in EU countries. And we had a similar requirement.

If the goods supplier is not known when ordering, then ask your vendor to tell you this with an order confirmation or shipment notice. Then your buyer can maintain that in ME22N before the goods receipt is done.

Hi Shankar,

 

I am having issues running the Lumira report I get the below error. You had mention that I need to do an install of the web application on all tomcat host in the case of cluster. Can this be done even if am clustering to a linux box. I am only getting this error on the linux box. Windows box works fine.

Yes, use the Advanced Editor, you can just attach a few of the logs. zip them up and then add a .txt extension to the file and then attach. Must be less than 1 meg.

 

From the name I should be able to see what could be enabled to create the log files. Seeing what is in the logs will help also.

 

Oh and it could be they have enable crpe32 tracing....

 

See if they have these registry key:

I Have gone through all these Docs . but here my question is there is any chance of eliminating of contexts POPUP . Even though if we keep user friendly name to contexts still it is hectic for users .as one of my users asking to avoid POPUP.

 

is there any way to  Hide. or any technique we can apply at IDT Level

Why can't the License renewal app search on SID?

As someone who has the SIDs with their installation numbers on a sticky note pinned to the cubicle wall I might not be able to relate . But for me the shiny new Launchpad does search by the system ID quite well.

 

I just typed a system ID in the big Search box on top. It did offer me to search for it specifically in Systems and when I picked that option it showed full info on that system, including installation # in two places:

If you have two different user IDs for SCN and S-user the wouldn't you get prompted for which certificate you want to use when sign-on kicks in? I have only one S-user and one certificate, so I even disabled the prompt in the browser settings and it works perfectly. Perhaps you'll find comfort in knowing that, unlike me, at least you won't lose your SCN profile if you change jobs.

Now I'm completely lost. I thought the idea of the @prompt usage was to provide a list of values that could be used, which is what it looked like when I ran the query. The Webi prompt box came up and it showed the numbers 1 through 12 as the available values. I cannot define the value as the prompt, such as 1=@prompt... I need to prompt for a number between 1 and 12 and take that value and store it to be used as the CurrentPeriod variable.
