Funny. I always assumed that you couldn't use APPENDING INTO with a HASHED TABLE - but it seems you can. In which case, it appears that APPENDING INTO actually does the equivalent of an INSERT INTO. Perhaps it the addition SELECT .... INSERTING INTO table ... would be nicer.
For your questions though - why not try it and see?
Horst Keller - I've read the documentation, and to me it's not entirely clear that it works with HASHED tables - although there is mention of SORTED tables. And how about an INSERTING INTO alternative for ABAP 7.60?

I am new to crystal reports i need to design a report, which can print both side of an ID card using crystal reports 9
I am using .NET 1.1 version and I am running several reports which can print one side, but now i need to design for both side of a IDCARD in a single report and print. My printer is capable of printing both the side.
All i need to know how to set the page so it can fit size of a normal ID card(Plastic card).

Are all display templates available as i5?
Hello MII Community,
I'm in the very early stages of a 12.2 to 15.x upgrade assessment. I'm wondering whether or not all legacy java display templates have i5 implementations at this point? I see that iCommand was recently added with 15.1 but can't seem to find any specific reference since 14.0 for i5 implementations for iBrowser or iTicker. Any knowledge on the topic would be much appreciated.
I realize there are pure HTML/JavaScript options available to replace the applet implementations but I am specifically interested to learn if they have been implemented natively with i5.

I have also a SAP ABAP Developer, and want to move /S4 HANA. So i firstly Understand SAP HANA Database and SAP HANA Platform.
You have 12 year of ABAP Exp. , Please choose business area , in which you are more comfortable or done ABAP programming / BW work.
You can also move to SAP HANA Modelling which is same as SAP BW.
You need time to move to S/4 HANA , So start ASAP.
Business Area in S/4 HANA -
1. SAP Simple Finance
2. SAP MMO ( Material Management and Operation )
I. SD
II. MM
III. PM
IV. PP
etc.

Exchange Rate in Payment Order in EBS
Hi,
I am using Payment Order Functionality to pay my vendors for one client Finland.
Bank Statement format is MT940.
In case of Foreign Payments, Bank is sending the Local as well as foreign currency information in Statement.
But when I am importing the statement in FF_5, system is taking the Exchange rate from OB08 instead of Bank Statement & posting the Forex gain/loss accordingly.
One strange thing, opening & closing balance is being updated from Bank Statement only while it would be changed due to change in exchange rate.
Bank line in statement like this:
:61:1602250226DR1500,00NMSC0000000020
:86:?22/OCMT/USD1000,00/
Local Currency is EUR & Doc Currency is USD.
Please suggest, is there any Config for that?

Any reasons why you are using order reason to trigger your Tax , generally we do this with Tax classification of customer and Tax classification in material master .
I agree with Sumit , there is no need to create Routine rather add Order reason in your pricing table . But I will look forward to understand the business scenario , as its difficult to control tax from Order reason. We would also like to know why this can not be achieved by Tax classification of customer and Tax classification of Material.
