if you're using a Command object then you should write your selection in the Command's WHERE clause.
if you use a Record Selection Formula on top of a Command, then all of your records will be returned from the database and then the filtering will be done in crystal reports. this will be slow.

Thanks for your answers Josh and Seb. So it is kind of SSO...but not really. Plus it looks like you do not have control of the URL that is populated on that sign-on screen. Thus not end user friendly and not ready for prime time. 
I have also tried tweaking the BOESystems.xml file to no avail.
This is very bad news and I hope SAP will rectify this in the near future.

I have a requirement where in the fair share logic is extremely complex
The system has to consider stocks at Plant, RDC,DC and distributor
Then carry out a complex calculation
For a each SKU calculate the (Target Stock - Actual Stock) at DC,
Then compare it with the stock of the SKU at plant.
Based on this how much to be sent as fare share logic.
Is it possible to carry out such calculations ib SNP where we deal with order series and aggregates.

You can create a counter (measuring point) and assign this counter to the PRT (provided that PRT shall be created as an equipment with PRT category).
Now you have to use a suitable enhancement (BAdI / user exit) to update this counter upon each material inspection.
Then create a task list (either general / equipment). And assign MIC to the tasklist operation & assin inspection point 300 to tasklist header.
Then create a counter based inspection plan which will trigger calibration order on every 1000 count.
Then schedule this maint. Plan & do deadline monitoring in background if required.
This will create calibration order on every 1000 inspectins, release order, which in turn will create inspection lot.
Do result recording for this inspection lot, make ud.
Then TECO the order, then settle the order if any cost associated with it.
Maintenance plan & measuring point shall be directly assigned to PRT master data (Tcode = IE25 create / IE02 change), in tab strip PRT data, for calibration purpose

I guess you are searching for a where-used list for the PRT's in the routings.
Try the following:
1. CRVE_B-EQUNR = equipment number, CRVE_B-OBJTY = FH, extract CRVE_B-OBJID.
2. If you want to see only routing assignments, PLFH-PLNTY = 'N', PLFH-OBJID = CRVE_B-OBJID. Extract PLFH-PLNNR, PLFH-ZAEHL.
3. Access MAPL using PLNNR and ZAEHL.

Thanks for your reply. If relationships are there, there is no problem at all. This process would have been so simple. This is now not possible here. This is why we have used the Ztable to trigger the timesheet. The agent determination part which we have modified is perfectly working. The only problem is the request is not shown in the portal. For portal, we are using the standard webdynpro component. There is no UWL/POWL available here. Now the question here is how do we bring that work item which is pending with the manager to his portal. I have a few pointson this:
1. We use the standard Webdynpro component. What is the impact if we modify this?
2. Can we use a new Webdynpro component for this approval process? Wher in we will fetch the status 20 records and show in the approval tab and once he approves, the status will be 30?
3. Can we configure UWL only for this country and link the pending records from CTASDB to this?

I was able to get past this error. There are a variety of possible reasons which can cause this and other errors when trying to PGI/PGR using the IDOC.
Please review the POSNR value and quantities in E1EDL24 and E1EDL44 segments.
You wrote you are trying to go a PGR. Are you trying to post a Return to complete the PGR?
If so, there is no need for E1EDL37 and E1EDl44 segments since they are for packing and HUs.
If you can include photos of all your segments, I can review the data and hopefully can tell you what is wrong.

However if I Opt for Fixed amount , I get the discount of 5000 for 1 Order and the 5000 is getting splitted by the Number of Qty in that sames Order.
Sales Order A with 1 line item with 7 QTY , The reaction : Discount is =5000/ 7. ( 5000 remains as fixed Qty in this case )

Since you are not interested in activating LAM, we have to create as a point asset.
There is an alternate solution which is not straight. You have to divide this linear asset to discrete sections depend on GIS coverage.
Let us take the example of linear pipeline of 1000KM long, and each 100 KM there is GIS sensors.
We can create this 1000KM long pipeline as a point asset. Then each section of 100KM shall be created as sub equipment to to this main equipment.
Now the GIS in each 100KM, shall be integrated to the corresponding sub equipment.
So the maintenance activities will be performed on this sub equipment.
This is not the right way but alternatate way to achieve.
But i would personally suggest to activate LAM & Integrate GIS to SAP.
Which is the correct & complete solution.

No, shell creation will not be removed from the scenario list. Many customers are using it as it is really useful if sender system contain lots of application data and repository of sender and receiver is not in synch. Regarding time, shell creation basically uses system copy functions plus TDMS logic to cut off the client specific application data, so import export will take really very less time but yes it may take more time as compared to DB clone.
I want to load the BW Query result into a seperate HANA box. Apart from mocing this result into an excel and then laoding as CSV file, is there any other option? Can I have some kind of connection between the BW Query and HANA?

I installed from the latest SAP Patch level Packages folder, SAP Business One 9.00 PL08 UPGRADE\Packages\Crystal Server Integration\BusinessobjectsRuntime32\setup.exe followed by SAP CRAddin Installation\SAP Business One Crystal Report Integration Package.exe.
